These DSIP references show what each study tested

The numbered links below open the papers behind the sleep findings, hormone results, animal life-span work, and later mouse tests, starting with the 1977 rabbit finding and moving to human work from the 1980s and 1990s. Those small human studies found only modest or mixed changes, which matters more for you than the larger changes in animals.

Search by a paper's title or journal name. Its DOI and PubMed links open a lasting medical record. The newest paper changed DSIP so more could enter a mouse brain. That animal result didn't establish a benefit for people.
